When the going gets tough, the tough keep singing! When the world-touring live-looping sensation FreePlay was grounded, Dylan Bell and Suba Sankaran were fortunate enough to be “locked down” together and started livestreaming weekly concerts. With over 50 episodes, “FreePlay Fridays at 4!” became a virtual meeting place for music lovers around the world, and inspired Dylan and Suba to create new repertoire. “Talk to Me” is the fruition of these concerts: bold, new a cappella creations and virtuosic two-part arrangements, with FreePlay’s signature “anything goes” playlist from Bach to Bollywood, Joni to James Gang, with stops in Miami, Sao Paulo, Paris and L.A.

This concert features an opening set by all-80’s a cappella powerhouse, Retrocity. Seven totally rad singers electric boogaloo their way through your favourite tunes from the 80s and beyond, without a keytar or drum machine in sight.
